Darlene had been in the real estate industry since 1980, after she graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She served as President of the Tidewater Association of REALTORS®  in 1994 and held other leadership positions prior to serving as President. She is a Mentor for the States of Virginia, Maryland and DC for Prudential Real Estate Affiliates. She obtained the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) Designation in 2004. Darlene has served for 6 years as a Director on the Norfolk Education Foundation for Norfolk Public Schools and was recently asked to join the School Committee for Virginia Beach Friends School.
